The Marina Collection, together with the Marina Loft District, is showing positive signs that our economy is recovering. Tenancy at the Marina Collection is increasing with the addition of The Bar Method and the expansion of Hana Nails.

 

New developments are also breaking ground within the Marina Loft District. With the addition of the new mixed-use project at Lincoln Blvd and Maxella, Gallery Lofts, Washington Lofts, and Proximity, the Marina Loft District now consists of over 1,600 new residential units within walking distance of the Marina Collection Shopping Center.

1. Merlone-Geier in partnership with GLJ partners is developing the southeast corner of Lincoln Blvd and Maxella Ave. This $105 million, mixed-use project consists of 244 residential units above 9,000 SF of commercial space. This project is under construction.
2. Gallery Lofts, a four-story, 100-unit loft development is located at 4080 Glencoe Avenue and is within walking distance of the Marina Collection. Units consist of high-end lofts and are now marketed for sale. Gallery Lofts can be contacted at 310.306.3100 for additional information.
3. Washington Lofts is a new multi-story mixed-use / live-work project consisting of 39 condominium units with approximately 4,000 SF of retail space. It is located within one block of the Marina Collection Shopping Center on Washington Blvd. The project is approximately 65% complete with occupancy anticipated in the fourth quarter of this year.
4. Proximity celebrated their groundbreaking earlier this month and construction is well underway. Proximity is a multi-story, mixed-use development consisting of residential units atop approximately 4,200 SF of retail space. The project is immediately located across from the Marina Collection Shopping Center.
5. Hana Nails at the Marina Collection has expanded into a total of 1,700 SF to satisfy the community’s demand for their full array of personal salon services. Owned and operated by Hana Pham, the salon is dedicated to providing their clientele with the best salon experience possible and is committed to maintaining superior service and quality products in an upscale ambiance.
6. The Bar Method is celebrating its one year anniversary at the Marina Collection.
